Southern Grenadines and Grenada – targets of new cyclone

The 6th tropical depression of the season formed Friday evening close to the southern Windward Islands where tropical storm warnings were issued for some which are under threat. Grenada and the southern Grenadines seem as the immediate targets of what could be Tropical Storm Felix on Saturday.

The National Hurricane Centre in Miami has said that a tropical depression could form Friday morning on the doorstep of the southern Windward Islands bringing thunderstorms and tropical storm force gusts.
