New Caribbean property magazine to target the UK’s rich

LONDON, England, October 29, 2009 – The Caribbean property market is set to receive a boost with the launch of the UK’s first dedicated Caribbean real estate investment magazine, ‘The Caribbean Property Investor’, set to be published in March 2010.

It’s being put out by Caribbean Marketing Company. London-based St Lucian founder, Walter Zephirin, said that the publication will try to build on the increased interest in the region’s real estate market.

He said the magazine represents a unique opportunity to showcase the Caribbean property market to potential investors who have significant purchasing power, and to capitalise on the trend of relocating.

“2008 saw the region hit hard by the global economic downturn and a significant drop in property sales and property enquiries. As global markets begin to stabilise, we are seeing an increase in interest in the Caribbean property market, fuelled by high net worth individuals seeking to relocate to countries with lower tax rates and a higher quality of living,” Zephirin said.

“However, with buying processes and tax implications differing from destination to destination, investors are looking for a single, high quality source of reliable information relating to the best opportunities – this is where ‘The Caribbean Property Investor’ magazine comes in.”

With an exclusive focus on Caribbean property, investment and relocation to the region, the magazine will showcase a range of exceptional properties and land for sale from the region. It will also provide investors with key facts on the islands to enable informed overseas investment and relocation decisions.

The magazine is targeted at property investors, affluent “empty nesters” and company directors in the UK and Europe and has a projected readership of 250,000.

“Our distribution will be highly targeted. The magazine will be distributed at the UK’s premier destinations frequented by high net worth individuals, including first class airport lounges, five-star hotels, private jet centres, private member clubs and luxury spas,” Zephirin explained.

“It will also be distributed at exclusive luxury hotels serving Europe’s elite at world class events, including the Monaco Grand Prix, the Cannes Film Festival and the Palma International Boat Show.”

He said ‘The Caribbean Property Investor’  will also be delivered to Directors and Chairmen of the UK and Europe’s largest companies as well as to the homes of London’s most affluent residents.
