Hardbeatnews, HAMILTON, Bermuda, Weds. July 27, 2005: The British dependent territory of Bermuda remained under a storm watch last night as Tropical Storm Franklin continued to linger west of the island.
Periods of cloudiness and showers and possible thunder are slated to continue today, according to the Bermuda Weather Service, as Franklin continues hovering about 220 miles west of Bermuda.
Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are also possible during the next 24 to 36 hours.
Franklin is expected to continue its slow and erratic motion toward the north today, however, said forecasters at the National Hurricane Center in Miami last night. Maximum sustained winds were near 40 mph with higher gusts expected as some slow strengthening is possible during the next 24 hours. – Hardbeatnews.com
