Caribbean360: Former Trinidad PM undergoing treatment in US Former Trinidad PM undergoing treatment in US ================================================================================ Chris Hoyos on 08/02/2012 10:53:00 PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad, Wednesday February 8, 2012 – Former Prime Minister Patrick Manning is now in Washington DC undergoing further treatment after suffering a stroke two weeks ago. Manning was released from Trinidad’s San Fernando General Hospital early Monday morning and flown by air ambulance to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre for further treatment accompanied by his wife Hazel Manning. His son, Brian Manning said his father was pleased with the facility and was expected to start physiotherapy sessions yesterday. The length of the stay is yet to be determined, but the former leader is expected to undergo physiotherapy, speech and occupational therapy at the hospital.
