NEW YORK, USA, November 2, 2007 - Trinidadian Andre Neverson remains on the run for five years after eluding law enforcement officials and disappearing when lawmen sought him in connection with the death of his sister and an ex-girlfriend.

The 39-year-old's criminal history and his continued elusion of law enforcement officials has landed him since 2004 on the US Marshall's top 15 Most Wanted Fugitives List.

He remains on the list and law enforcement have report little progress over the years in Neverson's capture even though he remains wanted by the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Division of Parole for New York State and the NYPD.

So who exactly is Andre Neverson?

Neverson, according to law enforcement officials, was born in Trinidad and Tobago May 5, 1964 and moved to the US in 1981 as a resident alien. He reportedly became a big fan of deejaying and the music business and established DTROY Productions.

Neverson later became a bounder at several Caribbean clubs in Brooklyn where he went after women with charm and the gift of gab. Many of the women he courted were usually professional types.

On March 11, 1992 at 5:18pm in front of 151 E.34th St, Neverson got into a fight with his girlfriend outside a medical school in Brooklyn, where she worked. The woman's uncle came by and saw them fighting. When he tried to intervene, Neverson became enraged, pulled a gun and shot the uncle five times. The uncle survived but Neverson served five years in prison for attempted murder. He was paroled in November of 1998. Neverson was deported from the United States criminally on July 24, 2000.

At some point in September of 2000, Neverson re-entered the country illegally on a Jamaican passport purchased by his family.

On July 8, 2002, the NYPD found Patricia Neverson, Neverson's sister, shot to death by Neverson, over an ongoing argument about money. On July 11, 2002, NYPD found the body of Donna Davis, Neverson's fiancée. NYPD states that Davis broke off the relationship and that Neverson did not take that well. Davis was last seen in Neverson's minivan. An investigation performed by the NYPD suggests she was kidnapped then shot to death.

On November 6, 2002 at approximately 12:30am, Neverson, armed with a gun, attempted to visit his two-year-old daughter. The police were contacted and a canvas was conducted by the NYPD and USMS but he was never found. And that was the last time Neverson was seen in the US Even though in January 2003, a letter turned up mysteriously at his parents home in Brooklyn.

Since then, the whereabouts of the 6ft 2in tall, 240lb wanted man has been sketchy.

US officials believe he may be buying and selling cars in the Caribbean and was spotted at a car auction in Trinidad, where police say he still has relatives.

But they also believe he may wear wigs to disguise himself and may be thinner than 240 pounds now. But there's no doubt he's dangerous.

Assistant Director Bob Finan, head of Marshals Service criminal investigations, insists, "Andre Neverson has a history of violence and numerous prior convictions. He must be brought to justice."

Anyone with information about Neverson's movements or whereabouts is asked to contact the US Marshals at 1-800-336-0102. (Hardbeatnews.com)
