BELMOPAN, Belize, February 9, 2010 – After almost 15 years on the run, another one of America’s Most Wanted (AMW) fugitives has been captured in Belize.

Patrick Anthony Brown, wanted for a murder in the United States, was held in following a tip to Crime Stoppers. He will be deported to the United States to stand trial for killing a man in a jealous rage on May 29th, 1995.

His case was profiled on the American television show in August 2005 and then again in April 2006.

Police said that Brown, alias Derrick Mollay, found out that his ex-girlfriend was dating Zandera Sullivan and he killed him in a heated argument.

His capture came on the heels of the arrest of convicted child molester Robert Snyder in December 2009. He fled the United States after failing to register as a sex offender but was caught in Belize where he was working as a chess instructor in schools for more than a year.

AMW host John Walsh was in Belize last week filming an episode about his capture.

Snyder faces the possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison after pleading guilty in court in the US for failure to register as a sex offender on January 29th.

Last September, another fugitive featured on AMW – former United States deputy sheriff, Derrick Yancey – wanted for the murder of his wife and another man, was also captured in Belize.
