Rihanna sick and tired again?

LOS ANGELES, California, Wednesday June 13, 2012 – It was only last month that Barbados’ superstar Rihanna was rushed to hospital in New York suffering from “exhaustion and dehydration”. New developments have sparked speculation that the You Da One hitmaker may not have fully recovered.

The 24-year-old singer/actress has scrapped plans for a ten-week stay in Britain, fuelling fresh concerns that she is unwell once again.

The Bajan star, who has placed in this year’s top ten of both Forbes’ Most Powerful Celebrities and Time’s Most Influential People, was due to fly into London last week, but her management called off the trip at very short notice.

Despite the cancelled UK trip, a representative for her Sky Living show with Nicola Roberts and Henry Holland, which she was thought to be flying to London to work on, has insisted that production will not be affected and is nearly complete.

But Rihanna will be letting down fans who were looking forward to seeing her perform at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend as well as at the O2 Wireless Festival next month.

The Umbrella star was due to be staying just a few streets away from her mentor Jay-Z in London, but  plans for the immediate future are now unclear.

A source told Britain’s Sun newspaper: “She has been hitting it hard for months. She smokes, drinks and parties hard on top of work commitments.”

Rihanna, who regularly keeps her fans updated with posts on her Twitter page, tweeted a photo of herself in hospital last month.
