Talk show host denied bail

Television station also summonsed to appear in court.

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad, Wednesday April 25, 2012 – TV6’s Crime Watch talk show host, Ian Alleyne was denied bail on Monday and spent the night in at the police station.

Mr. Alleyne was arrested over the weekend and charged with three offences under the Sexual Offences Act, and with resisting police.

Reports indicate that Mr. Alleyne was expected to appear in court yesterday to answer the charges. Meanwhile, CCNTV6 was also summonsed to appear before a Port-of-Spain magistrate on May 14 to answer three charges under the Sexual Offences Act, and six under the Telecommunications Act.
