Wall Street Journal, Bahamas: Cable & Wireless Communications PLC Wednesday acquired a 51% stake in the Bahamas Telecommunications Co. Ltd. as it seeks to diversify its economic exposure in the region amid a continued slowdown in its Caribbean operations.
