Ex Belizean leader George Price’s younger brother is found dead in his bathtub.

BELMOPAN, Belize, Monday April 18, 2011 – Police are investigating the murder of Samuel Price, the younger brother of former Prime Minister George Price.

The bludgeoned 84-year-old was found slouched over a bathtub on the second floor of his Tarpon Cove, Northern Highway residence, just outside Belize City, on Saturday.

Initial reports suggest there may have been a break-in at the house.

A statement issued by the Belize Police Department said it was Price’s nephew who discovered his body.

"Initial investigations reveal that at about 8:00 a.m. Mr. Clement Usher visited the residence as he usually does every Saturday, where he found Mr. Price dead.  Signs of forced entry were observed on both a wooden and a metal door on the second floor entrance of the house,” the police release said.

Price is survived by his older broker, as well as two sisters – former government minister Jane usher and historian Meg Craig.
