Whitney Houston to be buried on Saturday

The 48-year-old will be buried one week after she died in the bathtub in a hotel room in Beverley Hills.

LOS ANGELES, Wednesday February 15, 2012 – Popular singer dubbed the Queen of Pop, Whitney Houston will be buried on Saturday following a funeral service at her home church, New Hope Baptist Church in Newark.

The 48-year-old will be buried one week after she died in the bathtub in a hotel room in Beverley Hills, California, hours before she was to peform at the Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy Awards bash.

Reports indicate that entrance to the funeral service will be by invitation only at the family’s request to keep the memorial personal.

And while there were no initial signs of foul play, it could be weeks before the coroner’s office completes toxicology test to establish the cause of death.
