Female warden gunned down outside Jamaica primary school

Police-Line-Do-Not-Cross-740KINGSTON, Jamaica, Monday March 9, 2015, CMC – Police were searching for a gunman who shot and killed a warden at a school here on Monday.

Classes at the Kilsyth Primary and Infant school in Clarendon were suspended Monday after Natalee Gayle, a female warden was shot dead outside the institution.

Media reports said that Gayle was standing outside the school gate when a car drove up and the gunman alighted and shot her. The vehicle then sped away.

According to the Jamaica Gleaner “it is reported that the woman was shot at least eight times”.

Subsequently, a car reportedly involved in the shooting was intercepted in the nearby community of John’s Hall following a police chase according to the Jamaica Gleaner report.

Police said they had no motive for the killing.
