Pure Grenada Music Festival-April 13-15

Set against the backdrop of Grenada’s picturesque Carenage harbour, the Pure Grenada Music Festival is the Caribbean’s gem of music experiences. The event is into its third year and a star studded diverse line-up is set for April 13-15.The festival presents three nights dedicated to celebrating different genres of music. ‘Soul Night’ features Grammy award winning R&B singer Chrisette Michele and UK singer/songwriter Daley while the Jamaican Grammy award-winning family group Morgan Heritage will rock the stage on ‘Reggae Night’. Grenada Invitational-April 21

The premier 2nd Annual Grenada Invitational Track & Field Meet will be held on Saturday April 21, 2018 at the island’s Kirani James Athletic Stadium in St George’s. In 2017, more than 100 athletes from over a dozen countries participated in the inaugural event which included global stars such as Grenada’s 400m olympic medallist Kirani James; Americans Justin Gatlin and LaShawn Merritt; Asafa Powell and Veronica Campbell-Brown of Jamaica and the evergreen Kim Collins of St Kitts and Nevis. The 2018 event will feature a growing cast of local and international stars competing in an atmosphere of passion and pure excitement. Already confirmed for this year are the 2017 100m female World Champion Tori Bowie and 2012 400m Olympic medallist Liguelin Santos along with the returning Gatlin and Meritt. Carriacou Maroon Festival-April 27-29
