Two-year-old dies in fire

KINGSTON, Jamaica, Monday April 30, 2012 – For the second time in just about a month, a two-year-old child has lost their life during a house fire.

This time it was two-year-old Tyresse Flynne of Port Maria, St. Mary, Jamaica, who died in a house fire around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday night.

According to reports the child’s mother left him at home to go to the shop to purchase items and received news that her house was on fire.

The child’s burnt body was found in the six-apartment board structure after firemen extinguished the fire. The cause of the blaze is unknown.

One month earlier, two-year-old Brittany Bailey died following a fire at her Galina, St. Mary home. However her mother and two sisters were also badly burnt during that incident. Click here to receive free news bulletins via email from Caribbean360. (View sample)
