AG to decide whether rigid regulations required for sex toys

KINGSTON, Jamaica, Friday August 31, 2012 – Reports out of Jamaica indicate that Customs Department officials are in a quandary over sex toys. They don’t know what to do with them.

According to the Jamaica Observer, the Customs Department says it will not interfere with the importation of sex toys into the country until the attorney general makes a ruling on their legality.

The Observer newspaper in Jamaica has quoted the Custom’s Department’s Director of Communications Dania Beckford, as saying the department is currently taking no “definitive action” against importers of sex toys.
