Three Jamaica police officers detained in death of colleague

KINGSTON, Jamaica, Monday June 24, 2013 – A statement issued by the Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) said that three police officers have been taken into custody following the shoot-out in the northern parish of Trelawny.

The CCN said the District Constable, whose identity had not been disclosed, was killed during a confrontation with the other police officers following an alleged robbery and abduction.
