Hardbeatnews, PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad, Tues. July 26, 2005: Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo is set to begin a state visit to the twin-island Republic this Saturday.
Government reports indicate Obasanjo is set to arrive at 10 am on Saturday July 30 at Piarco International Airport. He is expected to address a special joint sitting of both Houses of Parliament, visit Tobago and hold bilateral with the Patrick Manning government on Trinidad and Tobago/Nigeria relations.
He is also set to attend a number of Emancipation events during his visit.
The Nigerian President is slated to return to Nigeria on Tuesday August 2 on an 11:30a.m. flight.
Nigeria is also an oil producing country whose government has a record of corruption and mismanagement. – Hardbeatnews.com
