Hardbeatnews, FORT-DE-FRANCE, Martinique, Tues. Nov. 28, 2006: The French Caribbean island of Martinique was yesterday rattled by a slight earthquake, U.S. Geological Survey seismologists said.
The earthquake, put at 4.7 on the Richter scale, occurred at about The 1:52 p.m. yesterday and was centered 41 miles from from Schoelcher, Fort-de-France, 42 miles from St. Pierre and 43 miles from the capital of Fort-de-France.
