NEW YORK, USA, June 27, 2007 – Reggae artiste, Stephen Marley, is confirmed to thrill fans at a New York concert in Queens later this year.
Marley, one of the sons of the late reggae icon, Robert Nesta Marley, will perform at the 5th annual Irie Jamboree concert at Roy Wilkins Park on Sunday, September 2nd.
Marley’s new album ,”Mind Control,” has been gaining popularity with reggae fans worldwide, containing hits like ‘Hey Baby’ featuring Mos Def, ‘Iron Bars’ featuring Julian Marley, Mr. Cheeks and Spragga Benz and ‘The Traffic Jam’ featuring Damian Marley.
The album is doing well in Jamaica, Europe, and Canada and is generating just as much attention state side – enjoying multiple spins on urban radio stations and cable channels.
