Manning released from hospital

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad, Monday March 26, 2012 – Former Trinidad Prime Minister, Patrick Manning is expected to return home within another month.

This was confirmed by his son Brian Manning, who said his father was now staying with family in Maryland, United States of America after being released from hospital.

The former leader suffered a stroke at his San Fernando home in January and was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital for treatment initially. He was later flown to the US by air ambulance for further treatment at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre, in Washington.
