Trinidad police arrest two for murder of schoolboy

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad, Thursday August 29, 2013 – The police have arrested two men in connection with Wednesday’s murder of a 16 year old on his first day at a new school.

Kazim Maxine was killed as he waked out of the Laventille Technology and Continuing Education Centre.

The police report that shortly after 2 pm Kazim and a friend were leaving the building  when they were approached by two men who opened fire on Maxine, hitting him 12 times. He died on the spot, however his friend was not injured.

Shortly after arriving the scene, the police arrested the two suspects after viewing a surveillance video .
