Gonsalves will be seeking a historic fourth consecutive term in office.

His ULP won eight of the 15 seats in the last general elections held on December 13.

The other seven were won by the Arnhim Eustace-led New Democratic Party (NDP).

Political pundits say this election will be another close one.

The ULP will be campaigning on a platform of achievement and promises of further accomplishments.

Gonsalves last night outlined 20 of the ULP administration’s policies and programmes and outlined 15 areas on which he would focus if the ULP is returned to office.
