Windies lose third ODI in a row

PORT ELIZABETH, South Africa, January 28, 2008 – The West Indies are 0-3 in their five-match one day international contest against South Africa.


The Windies boys lost their third ODI match-up Saturday despite a fighting performance by Marlon Samuels. The Windies reached 252 for seven off their allotted 50 overs with Samuels top scoring with 98.


But the South Africans, in response, were able to surpass the total by one with seven wickets remaining intact. Jacques Kallis top scored for his side with a phenomenal 121 not out to hand the South Africans another win.
